I wanted to drop you a note to let you know how much I enjoyed working with you on my “Dream Pool”. You and your team are top notch.

I have dealt with several contractors in the past and like most people have not had satisfactory results. Oh, the job starts off great, but as the time passes you seeing dramatic changes i.e. Showing up every other day or not at all and forget about finishing the detail work because their focus is already on “the next deal”!

Not the case with Sand Dollar. As you do only one job at a time, and are on site everyday with your people the job gets done on time and the right way!

And talk about savings, the lowest bid I received from other companies was in the $70k range. And this was for just pool only no extra like deck, rockwork, and waterfall. Sand Dollar’s quote was complete and substantially less. Sand Dollar’s quote included the installation, tile, decking and the coolest fiber optic color light.

I had bids from two other very well known pool companies before I called Sand Dollar. I had never considered a fiberglass pool because I thought they would not look the way I dream my pool should look. Then my neighbors down the street put in a pool from Sand Dollar and I went over to check it out. They told me about you and Sand Dollar and through their research felt it would be the best pool because of our ground in this area tends to shift a lot and the fiberglass pool can allow for that shifting without damaging the pool.

I called the references from the other companies and learned that after one year several of my friends had cracks in their pools. When they called the company that built their gunite pool they were told that they would patch the crack but not re-gunite the entire surface. That’s when I decided Sand Dollar would be my choice. Other than those friends who know that my pool is fiberglass no one else can tell what it is made of.

Your subcontractors were fabulous and very knowledgeable. They worked well with my other subs. I have had 5 neighbors come and look at the pool and I know they will be contacting you when they get ready to put their pools in. One of the great comments from my neighbors that I’ve heard is “I didn’t even know you where building a pool because everything always looked so clean!” Most of the other company I talk to (as I’d seen with my friends construction) tear up the yard and driveway. During our pool construction, the sight was cleaned up daily.

When Martin, your concrete sub was here he told me the most fabulous story of a pool that Sand Dollar put in almost 20 years ago. This customer loved his pool so much that when he decided to move he called Martin to remove the concrete because he was going to take his pool with him to his new home. The pool was removed and relocated to the new home with only minor damage to repair and is enjoying his 20+ year old Sand Dollar pool at his new home.

Another thing on my list of praises for Sand Dollar was how carefully they where to minimize the damage to the yard and surrounding landscaping. As I’m the landscaper of the family it saved me a lot of time and money to get my beautiful yard back in shape after the installation.

I sing your praises David and Sand Dollar Pools to everyone I know and would recommend you to my dearest friend (and even enemies). Thank you for making this project a very very pleasant experience!

p.s. I highly recommend using Sand Dollar for monthly service. It’s inexpensive and very reliable, and service tech doesn’t leave unless your pool is sparkling clean!!
